Teens program · ages 12–16
Stronger teens
For teenagers, jiu-jitsu is far more than a sport. Our Teens program uses training to build confidence, self-control and responsibility — in a group of peers with shared goals.
More than technique
What they take off the mats
For parents, what matters most isn’t the techniques: it’s the person your child is becoming.
Self-control
They learn to manage frustration, handle wins and losses maturely — and stay calm under pressure, on the mats and at school.
Discipline and focus
Listening, following instructions and practising with attention to detail. Habits that carry over naturally into schoolwork and daily responsibilities.
Resilience
Progress in jiu-jitsu is gradual. Teens learn that improvement comes from consistent effort and that setbacks are part of the journey.
Friendships with purpose
They train alongside peers who also want to improve. Respect, effort and team spirit become the norm.
Confidence and safety
They gain confidence in their bodies and learn self-defence with control and responsibility — which helps them handle difficult situations, including bullying.
Healthy habits
A regular training routine, enjoyable exercise and more mindful everyday choices.
